Name:

I am a traveller on my way Home, passing through this little land. It's a lovely place, though nothing compared to where I'm heading, I was told. I have journeyed through several valleys. Not the kindest place I must say. But hey, I've had some "mountain top" experiences too. They made me long for Home. I heard there are no valleys at Home. I have met some fellow travellers along the way. But mostly find myself among locals. If you're local, please bear with my quirkiness. I know my accent and ways are puzzling sometimes. If you're a fellow traveller, keep going. We should be reaching soon. Bon voyage!

You Raise Me Up

Today I want to share a song that has moved me deeply. It's already marked as my first Song of the Year '05. It reminds of the journey that I've traveled and the One who has and still is faithfully walking beside me everyday. I hope it will also bring renewed hope and life to you when you think of your own special someone who is your pillar of strength and hope.

So many artiste have sang this song so I'm not sure who is the original. But I think it was Josh Groban who made it popular. Though I am puzzled why he left out the entire second verse, which is so meaningful.

You Raise Me Up by Selah

When I am down and, oh my soul, so weary,
When troubles come and my heart burdened be.
Then, I am still and wait here in the silence,
Until you come and sit awhile with me.

You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders
You raise me up.. to more than I can be.

There is no life, no life without its hunger
Each restless heart beats so imperfectly
But when you come and I am filled with wonder
Sometimes, I think I glimpse eternity

You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas
And I am strong, when I am on your shoulders
You raise me up .. to more than I can be
You raise me up .. to more than I can be
